We are often taught that we need to be tuned in to what God is saying to us, but sometimes we also forget that God is tuned in to what we are thinking, feeling, and saying.
I had an incredible experience this week. I was thinking of a situation, and there were many different ways I could handle it, but I didn’t like any of those options. I kept going around in circles and circles, biding my time and trying to find the right opportunity to address the situation. Then, just like that, the Lord sorted it out for me before I took any action. Overwhelming gratitude filled my heart when I realized that this had already happened a few times this year, I was only noticing it now.
The Lord seemed to know exactly what I was going to do next, and He prepared the way for me before I even went and did it. Just by thinking about it, the Lord sorted it out for me. I didn’t have to do anything; I realized that the Lord cares so much more than we realize.
There’s a song by We The Kingdom that’s so beautiful, and I just want to leave you with this. We get to think about how the Lord is still on the throne, no matter what. He will sort things out for us; sometimes all we need to do is just think about it.
