In September, I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Lukhanyo Manyangaza at the FAME Festival in Cape Town, where we both proudly represented the Eastern Cape, sponsored by the ECDC (Eastern Cape Development Corporation).
Since then, an exciting collaboration has begun to take shape! Lukhanyo recently approached me to be the scriptwriter for his upcoming short film project titled Likamva. The story holds incredible potential, and I’m truly honoured to help bring his vision to life through the power of storytelling.
Lukhanyo has already secured 50% of the project’s funding and is now applying for the remaining support from the NFVF (National Film and Video Foundation) and ECDC.
I’m thrilled to be part of this journey — one that celebrates creativity, collaboration, and the vibrant filmmaking spirit of the Eastern Cape. 🌍🎥
