We are incredibly excited to share some wonderful news: ThisAbility has been selected for official screening at the Tributes Awards in Durban, South Africa, in November 2026.
This is a meaningful milestone for a film that was created with a simple but important purpose — to tell stories that bring disability into the centre of the conversation and to encourage audiences to see ability, humanity and possibility beyond stereotypes.
ThisAbility explores disability through a human and authentic lens, reminding us that representation matters. When people with disabilities see themselves reflected in stories, and when audiences are given the opportunity to experience perspectives different from their own, we take another step towards building a more inclusive society.
Being selected for the Tributes Awards gives ThisAbility an opportunity to reach a new audience in South Africa and to be part of a celebration of stories that have something meaningful to say.
