Your generous support covered my flights, accommodation, meals, and access pass—making it possible for me to fully immerse myself in this life-changing experience.
As one of only five emerging filmmakers chosen to represent the Eastern Cape, I felt both honoured and inspired. FAME Week opened doors to invaluable networking opportunities, insightful sessions, and global connections that I could not have accessed otherwise. It was a privilege to carry the name of our province into such a prestigious space, and I am proud to have done so under the banner of the ECDC.
This experience has not only enriched my journey as a filmmaker but has also strengthened my resolve to create stories that represent and uplift voices from our region. The knowledge, contacts, and confidence I gained during this event will continue to shape my career for years to come.
