Today I had the honour of meeting the Kouga’s Municipality’s Executive Councillor, Mayor Hattingh Bornman, and his team, in Jeffrey’s Bay. We discussed my upcoming film project, and he congratulated me & also gave me valuable guidance & direction into the assistance that I will need to make this film. Can’t wait to see all the creative projects that’s going to come out of this… Thank you for the meet & greet invitation, Councelor Bornman. May you go from strength to strength. And yes, we are both ‘number one’!

I had the pleasure of meeting Jeffreys Bay filmmaker, Vicki Fourie, who has been awarded a prestigious grant from the National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) to produce a short film this year, becoming the only recipient from the Eastern Cape among just four successful applicants nationwide.
Vicki, who has 97% hearing loss, will be producing a film that reflects the every day challenges experienced by someone faced with this disability and how to triumph in spite of these constraints.
She loves Kouga and wants to reveal the beauty of Jeffreys Bay through her film.
