Back in June 2025, I applied for a contract writer position at The Daily Grace Co., a Christian publisher known for creating beautiful, Christ-centered resources that inspire women around the world.
After months of waiting, I finally received a response today — and it’s such an encouraging one!
Here’s part of what they said:
“Thank you so much for applying to be a contract writer at The Daily Grace Co.! We were humbled to receive more than 2,700 applications from people who share our heart for creating Christ-centered resources…
If you would like to move forward in pursuing a contract writer position with The Daily Grace Co., we are inviting you to submit a book proposal as your next step.”
They’ve decided to focus specifically on nonfiction trade books for now, rather than devotionals or Bible studies — and they’re inviting writers to submit book proposals for consideration.
This couldn’t have come at a better time, because I’m already in the process of writing three nonfiction books that I plan to submit to them. Each one explores a different part of my faith journey and the ways God has met me through both striving and surrender.
I don’t know where this path will lead, but I do know that when God opens a door, it’s always worth walking through.
For now, I’m taking a deep breath, trusting His timing, and pressing forward with the words He’s placed on my heart.
