I’m thrilled to share that I have officially submitted my application for the BASA Supporting Grants with my pilot short film project, Read My Lips (Lees My Lippe). This project explores the challenges and superpowers of lipreading for d/Deaf individuals, combining innovative storytelling, sound design, and accessibility to create an immersive cinematic experience.
I’m especially excited to be collaborating with RED Creative Collab, whose technical expertise and creative mentorship are helping bring this vision to life. This grant opportunity will allow us to develop a 3-month pilot that highlights inclusion, accessibility, and the power of creative-business partnerships.
Fingers crossed as we await the outcome! This is an important step in amplifying voices often unheard and telling stories that matter.
