Our very first Arrow Letter has been distributed! The Uprooting, our September 2026 letter, marks the beginning of this little adventure that my mom, Bonita, and I have been dreaming of and creating together.
In The Uprooting, I share our journey of leaving South Africa and beginning a new life in Oregon. Through the symbolism of trees, I reflect on what it means to put down roots, what we leave behind when life changes, and how even the most painful seasons of uprooting might prepare us to be planted somewhere new.
Accompanying the letter is a beautiful original painting by my mom, inspired by the same theme, along with a prophetic reflection and a few thoughtful keepsakes. Each element is created to invite you to pause, reflect, and perhaps see your own season of life a little differently.
