Arrow Letters | Volume I | Letter Two

There is something special about knowing that a letter you have written is making its way into someone else’s mailbox.

Our second Arrow Letter, Surrendered Wildflowers, is now being sent out to our subscribers for October 2026!

After launching Arrow Letters with The Uprooting in September, it is wonderful to see this little creative venture taking shape, one letter at a time.

Surrendered Wildflowers

This month’s letter explores the art of surrender: learning to let go of the need to understand everything and allowing life to unfold in ways we could never have planned.

Through stories, reflections, and the imagery of wildflowers and water, we explore what it means to release our expectations, embrace the unknown, and discover beauty in unexpected places.

Our October letter also includes a beautiful piece of artwork by my mother, Bonita Fourie, created especially for this edition and included as a collectible art postcard for our physical subscribers.

At Arrow Letters, we want to create something you can hold in your hands, take your time reading, and return to whenever you need a moment of reflection. In a world where so much arrives on a screen, there is something lovely about finding a thoughtful letter waiting in your mailbox.

Would You Like to Receive Our Next Letter?

If you missed our first two letters, there is still time to become part of the Arrow Letters community and join us for the months ahead.

We offer two subscription options:

  • Physical letters: $15 per month, delivered to your mailbox.
  • Email letters: $10 per month through Substack.

Each month brings a new theme, original writing, and creative inspiration.

You can subscribe through our website or join us on Substack for our email editions. We also share new content every week on social media, so follow along to see more of our writing, artwork, and creative journey.

Thank you to everyone who has already subscribed and supported this new venture. Every reader who welcomes an Arrow Letter into their home becomes part of the story we are creating.

May October bring you a little more room to surrender, grow, and discover your own wildflowers.

Welcome to Arrow Letters — words that leave a mark.
