I am thrilled to share that ThisAbility, the debut short film from Sacambaya Films, has been submitted to a number of film festivals and competitions across South Africa, the United States, and Europe.
As a first-time filmmaker, seeing this project reach the festival submission stage is both exciting and humbling. ThisAbility was created to spark conversations around disability, inclusion, and the power of storytelling, and I am hopeful that it will resonate with audiences around the world.

This film has been a true labour of love, and I am incredibly grateful to everyone who helped bring it to life. From the cast and crew to our supporters and partners, this journey would not have been possible without you.
Festival selection is never guaranteed, but I am proud of how far ThisAbility has come already. Now comes the waiting game as we keep our fingers crossed and hope that the film will find a place in these prestigious programmes.
